Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup instant oat flakes
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup chopped almonds
- ¾ cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preparation of the oatmeal cookies with almonds
- Pour and mix in a bowl the whole wheat flour with the oats, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
- Add the lightly beaten egg, honey, vanilla essence and coconut oil along with the grated coconut, almonds and chocolate chips. Mix well and refrigerate for half an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 170 C. Next, cover the baking tray with baking paper.
- Form the mixture into small balls the size of meatballs. Place them on the tray leaving space between them. Finally, flatten the balls slightly with a spoon.
- Bake at 170 C for approximately 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Chocolate bars with almonds and coconut

- Blend the grated coconut, the honey, the coconut oil and half of the almonds until you obtain a sticky paste.
- Then, pour the mixture on a tray previously lined with non-stick paper (or baking paper) and spread it with the help of a spatula. Next, we place the other half of almonds on its surface homogeneously. Once this is done, freeze for 15 minutes.
- Now, we melt the semi-sweet chocolate. To do this, we put it in the microwave for 15 seconds, mix and repeat the process until we notice that the chocolate is completely melted.
- Remove the preparation from the freezer and cut it into portions of the same size. Then, dip them in the melted chocolate and finally put them back in the freezer for 20 minutes.
